Wicca-licious!
Spiritually and religiously, I consider myself eclectic. That is, I don't strictly adhere to just one religion and integrate elements of various spiritual paths. Yet, one I am especially drawn to is Wicca. Wicca is a nature-based spiritual path. I remember reading years ago that we may be Wiccan if we're in awe of a raindrop and was thinking, "Yes, that's me!" Wiccans believe that the divine (or whichever other term they may use) is in nature, rather than a separate being above and beyond all of us. The divine is among us, in the trees, grass, dirt, water, sky, mountains, leaves and so many more elements of nature. In fact, I'm outside on my hammock now writing this blog entry. Two large trees hold up the hammock. This is my favorite place to be and I often spend hours out here, or sometimes elsewhere in nature. While some people may find this boring and get restless, I love it. Wicca also appeals to me ...
