The Curvilious Vegan

 If you read my blog entry on how I got into porn, you may remember me hinting about writing an entry on body positivity and body shaming in the industry.  Drum roll please because here it is.  Though this is a serious issue, I will also use humor so feel welcome to laugh (as long as you're laughing with me and not at me lol). When I started camming in 2002, I was kind of heavy by modeling standards and still am curvy and thick.  While I received many positive comments, one thing I remember was how multiple people came into my chatroom to tell me I'm fat or my tits sag (as if I didn't already know that and needed these b******** to enlighten me?  LMAO.)  Though I realize we show our bodies for a living, such behavior is really unnecessary.  If somebody's not your type, then you can leave their chatroom.  No need to be rude or disrespectful.  But then again, some people get off on degradation so maybe they really were into me and jacking off w...

 So, I've been asked how I got into porn.  Did some porn videos between 2002 to 2004.  I was actually camming and various people came into my chatroom and asked if I did porn.  Also been told multiple times that I resemble Christy Canyon.  At first, I didn't know who she was so I looked her up.   Basically, I became curious to try porn out so I did.  I called around to some production companies and got started that way.  I spent some time out in the San Fernando Valley (a.k,a, Porn Valley) and have been reflecting on this time in my life much over the past few months.  Most of my videos are still online, which is kind of funny to think about.   Though I feel weird naming people I worked with, I may blog about some of the more memorable experiences- including body shaming and body positivity in porn.  

 Hi! I've been camming for 20 years and have had other jobs during that time (sometimes simultaneously with camming).  Yet, camming keeps calling me.  Though it's not for everybody and I'm not going to speak for anybody else, I like the freedom it gives me beyond other jobs. I can work from home, work my own schedule, and interact with viewers.
